Pollard Christmas Party

On December 19, 2009 we had our annual Pollard Christmas Party. I always enjoy going to this and seeing how much all the kids have changed and talking to family and eating yummy food! We meet at the Buhl Community Center and it is always a fun time. "Santa" came to visit and Brittley couldn't have been more excited. As you can see from the pictures you'd think they were best friends! It was a fun night and I went home with a movie gift set, Clay got a knife set, Brittley got lots of cute bows/flower head bands, and Tate got a car set from the gift exchange!

Tate was afraid of Santa so he's hiding on Dad's lap!

Gift from Santa!

Tate took his gift and ran!

Only picture I got....and yep eyes are closed!

While all the adults were doing the gift exchange...Crystal came over and was like..."Your son's back there eating something." So I go back and low and behold there is Tate eating fudge straight out of the pan with the serving knife! Good thing everyone was done eating cause this became his fudge after that!

In this picture 3 years ago there was 8 adults and 4 kids..now in this one there are 12 adults and 13 kids and that still isn't everyone!!!

Boise Trip

We went to Boise for my sister's birthday and had a great time. We spent the night at Holiday Inn with my parents and played in the pool all night long. It was a ton of fun and we enjoyed are stay!
We went to Cabela's, the mall, and the Cheesecake Factory! It was a super fun trip!

Head Start Dinner & Santa!

Brittley's preschool holds an annual Winter Festival dinner. We ate a turkey dinner and then the kids sang songs and then santa came to give them gifts!

After each song Tate would start clapping and yelling "yeah!" and after the last song he ran right up to Brittley and said, "Yeah Brittley you did it!"

Brittley with Santa.....she told him she wanted a Cinderella Barbie..hmmm maybe santa will bring it?? Tate cried and when Santa tried to give him his bells to play with he threw them at him. I wonder what Santa will bring him????

Brittley's present from Santa!

Christmas Recital

It has been a while and I need to update majorly! Brittley's dance recital was December 7th she did such a good job, but she was a little distracted because she couldn't find us in the audience. She waves a bunch of times, but she has no idea where we are sitting and it is too cute! Thank you to all who came to support her! Good Job Brittley!

Some November Things

So much has gone on since I last blogged! I haven't been doing too many couponing deals lately just because I'm trying to save for Black Friday! I did get 2 packs of 72 count Chinet paper plates for $2.50 @ Target and a 24 Pack of Angle Soft Bath Tissue & an 8 count Sparkle Paper Towel pack @ Albertson's for $5.50! And so far those have been my best coupon deals because I have been slacking! But for family news there are lots of updates!

I took pictures of the kids right before we left for Zion's and they turned out amazing....well amazing for me I guess. Just cute fall pictures! These are the pictures I took for our Christmas cards because I want to get those finished and out of the way! And I ordered them last night so hopefully I ordered enough! I've been super busy with cheerleading and Clay's been super busy with work (hanging Christmas lights!) A busy November and an even busier December, but we are loving this unusual warm weather and looking forward to Thanksgiving and Holiday things!

We bought Brittley a new chair before our trip and she's had her eye on this pink and green chair for forever and so she was super excited to open this present!

In the first week of November we went to Zion's National Park for a family reunion with the Stanger's & we told Brittley the place was called Zion's National Park.com because she'll always repeat websites if she hears them on TV! Like she'll say, "Mom I want to watch PBSkids.org," or my parents print off Disney Princess Coloring Sheets from the internet and she'll say, "Mom I want to color Sleeping Beauty. Just go to DisneyPrincesses.com," and the funny thing about it is we don't let her on the computer, (she is only 4, but still a terror @ time and we don't trust her with the computer yet!) So she knows all these website names from TV crazy huh?
But Anyways we went to Zion's National Park.com and it was beautiful! I love how everything smells so fresh and clean, and the locals in that area make a lot of money off their souvenier shops and restaurants because it is so remote that all the prices are outrageous because they can be and then they close them up during the winter. What a life huh?

Hike to the lower Emerald Pools

On this hike we were about a 1/2 mile in and Brittley had to go to the bathroom really bad and so we finally had her go on the side of the trail, and of course somebody walked by while she was going......good thing she is 4! I had already been carrying her on my shoulders most of the time anyways, but she peed all over her shoes....so I had to take her shoes & socks off and carry her on my shoulders. Well then I had to go to the bathroom REALLY bad so I was like we are heading back. So I walked about a mile with Brittley on my shoulders the whole time and half of it feeling like I was going to pee my pants! And the funny thing was Brittley was like, "Mom why don't you just go in the trees?" and I said, "Because mommy is bigger and would probably scare everyone if they came around the corner to find me peeing!" I burned probably a million calories this day but hey it was worth it!
