Rest of September and some of October

"Filling" some pretty big shoes! Tate put these on to go running like mom!

On September 30, 2011, we went to Kaylynn's birthday party to celebrate her turning 4! It was tons of fun and we ate yummy food, [the kids] played in the water, we witnessed one of the funniest girl fits I have ever seen in my life {kudos to Kaylynn :)} and just had a good time hanging out with friends! Can you believe it is September 30th, at night, and the kids are just fine playing in their swimsuits...gorgeous weather we were blessed with!

Brittley "did" my hair one day while we were hanging out and then took pictures of her masterpiece. This was done in the afternoon and she wanted me to leave all of the bows and flowers in until Clay came home...I was like um..we'll just show him the pictures as proof. All of them in my hair was heavy and even though I would have loved to sport those gorgeous accessories until 5, I thought I'd save myself a headache and take them out. I love how creative Brittley is though!
Brittley came home from school with this beautiful hat on after they talked about Johnny Appleseed, she wore it into the store too!
Just one last picture of Brittley sporting some new clothes she got from her shopping momma!

Brittley's Hair Cut

After school started it was time for Ms. Brittley to get a hair cut once again. Last year before kindergarten I did it and it was not too bad, but I was not really excited to cut her hair because if I screwed it up the poor girl would have to deal with it! But it turned out fine, so this year I asked her where she wanted to go and she said the mall. So we headed to the mall one Saturday afternoon and got her hair cut. I wanted it to be layered, but it did not turn out that way but ended up being really cute.
Tate playing on the phone while Brittley is getting her hair cut. He was perfect for me!

Getting styled...Brittley had to have her hair straightened...I am not sure why she was so focused on that detail but she let the stylist know she wanted her hair straightened.
The final production! The stylist was great and was a good sport about letting me take pictures!

Brittley's Teeth

Not the greatest picture, but it is a monumental moment! Brittley lost her first tooth on September 19, 2011!! It was at Hop-2-It and she caught it on the net in one of the bounce houses so it pulled it out more than it was. Luckily Aunt Shelly was there because she yanked that tooth out in seconds it was amazing! I was so glad she was there because I do not know if I could have done that...Brittley was very freaked right after it happened and then she calmed down. She got a $1 from the toothfairy and now has a different kind of smile!!
Another angle of her missing tooth!
She lost her second tooth in the middle of Ocotober. It was her bottom right tooth and I pulled it out this time. It was extremely dramatic and I thought she swallowed it because she was flipping out so bad. It was extremely loose and needed to come out, but oh boy you would have thought I was pulling out a permanent tooth from her head. I video taped her the next time we were trying to get a tooth for blackmail purposes (lol) but it is insane how bad she freaks out over her teeth coming out. The next tooth which was the bottom left fell out on its own in St. George on Nov. 2, 2011. She did it all by herself and was very proud of that. Clay told her he didn't know if the toothfairy lived in St. George and then the "toothfairy" forgot...so when she woke up she said, "I guess the toothfairy doesn't live in St. George." Quite comical to us, but so sad for her I told her I was sure she was in Zion's. The next day at lunch she almost pulled out the top tooth while eating a grilled cheese sandwhich, but it stayed in until...
November 13, 2011! Dad pulled out the tooth this time...it was sticking out crooked that was how loose it was so Clay held her arms and pulled it out in seconds. She cried..of course...but then was good. 2 months and she has lost 4 TEETH!
Brother is very proud of her!

Tate's 4th Birthday

Tate turned {FOUR} on September 19th! I cannot believe my baby is four! We went to hop-2-it for his birthday and although things were not as organized as I would have liked it to be (they did not have us written down for a party!) it was probably the most stress-free birthday I ever had to do :) The cake I made was of course..{Thomas} and I found the idea online; it turned out so simple to make but cute to look at. Tate had lots of fun and we enjoy every moment that this little man brings to us. I could not imagine my life without him and especially now where we have so much Tate & Mommy time together since Brittley is at school. One thing I left out of his picture because there was no room he {LOVES} to be with family and not just our little family but Grandmas, Grandpas, Cousins, Aunts, & Uncles. I love that we have a big family for him to be around because he is truly blessed to have sooo many loved ones surrounding him!

So Happy after Hop2it
